2025 transit performance: 20.57-day yearly average pick-up
The 2025 yearly average pick-up time was 20.57 days, about 2 days better than 2022, driven mainly by a matured crossing-switch mechanism and optimised workflows at the Xinjiang bonded warehouse.

The EU packaging and packaging-waste regulation is coming into force, setting new requirements on recyclability, materials and labelling. For cross-border sellers, packaging shifts from a cost item to a compliance item.

EU authorised representative and product compliance: three details sellers miss
EU product compliance is getting more specific: authorised representative, packaging marks, declaration of conformity. These are not formalities — missing any can block inbound and sales.

From cross-border air freight to our own truck express: how far YDT has come
The YDT story began in 2016 with European FBA air freight, building solid experience and client trust. After the 2020 strategic upgrade, we brought capacity and clearance back in-house.

Protecting the whole chain: how YDT delivers safety and speed
At YDT, speed and safety are never either/or. We hold to three core principles — safety first, compliant clearance, stable transit — to protect the whole cross-border chain for clients.

2022 year in review: 22.73-day average pick-up time
The 2022 yearly average pick-up was 22.73 days. Border conditions fluctuated heavily that year, so the yearly average ran higher than later years, but swings within each quarter stayed manageable.

Three years of the road corridor: truck express from backup to mainline
Three years since truck express started in 2020, it has gone from a fallback to a regular mainline for many sellers. Behind the shift is a simple realisation: the value of time certainty is real.

What is China–Europe truck express, and why is it the third corridor for sellers?
China–Europe truck express is TIR cross-border road freight, running both ways between China and Europe via the Belt-and-Road corridor and the TIR convention, balancing air-freight speed with sea-freight cost.

Dongguan office opens: more capacity in the Pearl River Delta
In April 2022 the YDT Dongguan office opened. Dongguan is one of the most manufacturing-dense cities in the delta, where factories and sellers keep demanding more first-mile capacity.

No space, higher rates, delays: the real 2021 for Europe logistics
2021 was a rough year for Europe logistics: ocean rates at record highs, congested ports, and containers in short supply. Many sellers realised for the first time that logistics is a risk item, not just a cost item.

The first year of China–Europe truck express: why sellers switched from air
In the first full year, most of the industry still watched from the sidelines. Sellers who actually used it found it solved not just cost, but also peak-season certainty of space.

First signals of EU tax tightening: what foundation sellers should build
Around 2019, EU states kept tightening cross-border e-commerce VAT. What sellers need is not a trick for one new rule but a tax foundation that lasts.

What exactly does VAT deferment defer?
Deferment is not exemption. It changes when import VAT is paid — and with it, how much cash is tied up. Understand this first, then decide whether and when to use it.

Cross-border exports keep double-digit growth; Europe is the densest growth market
China’s cross-border export has grown at double digits for years, with Europe growing fastest. The market is expanding — but sellers’ problems get harder, too.

Xiamen, Quanzhou and Putian offices open, serving Fujian’s three sourcing regions

From phone-only tracking to GPS visibility on the whole chain
That year, YDT upgraded cargo tracking from call-the-office to self-service. Clients can see the current node themselves instead of asking again and again.

Europe FBA peak season: why air first mile always overflows
Every October to December, Europe-bound air space goes through cyclical tightness. Overflow is not a surprise event; it is a pattern you can predict — and stock up ahead of.

YDT founded in Fuzhou, focused on China–Europe air first mile
In August 2016 YDT was founded in Fuzhou, Fujian. We started from the Europe air first mile — the hard work few wanted: tying pick-up, declaration, booking and clearance into one chain we answer for.
