YDT first Europe air lane up and running, Fuzhou direct to major EU airports

Four months after founding, YDT's first Europe air lane was officially up and running.

The route is: Fuzhou consolidation → hub-airport transit → arrival at major European airports → handoff to local clearance and delivery. It looks like standard industry practice, but for a company just starting out, getting this chain running smoothly in four months came down to one thing — watching over every leg ourselves.

Here is the concrete work we did in those months:

  • Turned declaration data into templates — pre-organized declaration elements for different categories so clients make fewer mistakes, greatly raising the first-pass rate;
  • Verified local clearance resources on the ground — not just collecting a contact, but actually working with them and knowing their response speed;
  • Wrote down the exception playbook — cargo inspected, flight cancelled, data errors: for each case, who to call and how long to resolve, all as fixed procedures.
On the early-stage lesson
There is no secret in first mile — what really sets people apart is "how fast you respond when something goes wrong". From our very first lane we have been building exception handling as a core capability.
